Una storia antica e nuova al tempo stesso...
...perchè Fattoria di Corniola dopo aver attraversato secoli, generazioni e peripezie varie - rimanendo sempre di proprietà della stessa famiglia, può dirsi rinata solo pochi anni fa quando, con un progetto tanto appassionato quanto audace, è stata intrapresa un’opera globale di ristrutturazione e restauro partita dalla Villa e dai fabbricati rurali, passando per i vigneti e la conversione di tutte le colture a biologico.
La Storia
La tenuta comprende la Villa padronale (già Villa dei Pini) che sorge sulla collina di Corniola aprendosi alla vista panoramica sulla piana e sui colli circostanti, fino al Monte Albano. Costruita presso la settecentesca Fattoria del Pino, di cui si hanno testimonianze anche nel Catasto Leopoldino, la dimora - divenuta villa di campagna nel 1870- si erge al centro di un vasto parco di lecci, pini e cipressi in cui sorge anche, poco discosto, il grande complesso della Fattoria che originariamente comprendeva i granai, le cantine etc..e che oggi ospita, tra l’altro, il piccolo mulino per i cereali e gli spazi della fattoria didattica.
Qui troverete tracce del passato rurale che si intrecciano con le testimonianze storiche degli ambienti e degli arredi …un vero tuffo nel passato!

An ancient yet new story at the same time...
...because Fattoria di Corniola, after having crossed centuries, generations and various adventures - remaining always under the same family ownership, can be said to have been reborn only a few years ago when a project as passionate as audacious, was undertaken for a global renovation and restoration, starting from the Villa and the rural buildings, moving through the vineyards and the conversion of all crops to organic.
The History
The estate includes the manor house (formerly Villa dei Pini) which stands on the hill of Corniola, offering a panoramic view of the surroundings and hills, extending to Monte Albano.
Built near the 18th-century “Fattoria del Pino”, which is also documented in the Leopoldine Cadastre, the residence- which became a country villa in 1870- rises at the center of a vast park of oak trees, pines and cypress trees where, not far away, stands the large complex of the Fattoria which originally included granaries, cellars etc..and today houses, among other things, a small mill for grains and spaces for educational farming.
Here you will find traces of rural past interwoven with historical testimonies of the environments and furnishings... a true dive into the past!
